About Us

Our faculty was established with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 25.05.2015 and numbered 2015/7723 and started to take students to the Agricultural Engineering Program in 2017-2018. With the decision taken at the Higher Education General Assembly Meeting of the Higher Education Council (Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu) dated 26.05.2021, student admission to our faculty is made to the Plant Protection Department from 2021-2022.

The establishment of the Horticulture and Field Crops Departments in our faculty was approved in 27.05.2020 dated Higher Education Executive Board Meeting of the Higher Education Council (Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu).

The name of our faculty, which was "Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies", was changed to "Faculty of Agriculture" with the President's Decision No. 3519 published in the Official Gazette dated 06.02.2021 and numbered 31387.

Educational activities in our faculty are carried out in the Kahta Vocational School building, which is located in an area of 425 decares with 5 lecture halls, 1 conference hall, 1 library, 15 classrooms, 3 computer labs and a dining hall.
